Steers behaved very well through yards. Only a couple stirred up slightly in crush but settled well once returned to mob .considering first time back in yards since weaning it is a testament to the Wansey herds temperment

Buyers here is an opportunity to secure a VGQ line of Vendor bred weaned steers, with some big compensatory gains to be had after a big curfew and 2 weeks weaning process. Steers showing good bone, depth and length and exceptional weight for age due to the British, Euro /Bos Indicus cross. Bred from Large framed Hereford and Hereford /Santa cross cows by Santa and Euro Bulls, these steers are highly sought after by repeat feedlot buyers when normally sold at heavier weights and are proven performers on Grass or grain. Steers are ideally suited to the oats buyer to take through to Lucrative Pasture Fed programes having never had antibiotics or grain, alternatively they are drafted into a tight weight range to suit feedlot entry for the Domestic feeder market . Please note two steers observed with horns were only small weaner horn.
