Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Well handled steers that are typical of cattle running in larger pastoral operations. Steers were very easy to inspect in the paddock and on waters. In the yards the steers are worked through a pound draft. Steers were good to handle, didn't show any signs of aggression in the yard but the odd steer when placed under pressure did show signs of agitation. While in the crush, temperament was similar with some steers stirring up when mouthed.

Assessor Comments
A very good line of vendor bred steers. A total of 62 head were mouthed out of the total run of 364 head with 12 x milk tooths, 43 x 2-tooths and 7 x 4-tooths. There are no age brands on these steers but most are the equivalent of No 0's and No 9's. These steers will suit a variety of fatteners looking for steers that will grow out bullocks. PLEASE NOTE: Vendor has another line of 104 steers and a line of 156 steers on offer in the same sale all from the same group of steers. The delivery of these steers will be as a "run out the gate" scenario but the focus will be to deliver into even lines if purchased by multiple buyers.
