UPC SPEND A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME AT WEANING TO SET CALVES UP. THESE GUYS ARE NO DIFFERENT. GREAT TO HANDLE, MOVE OFF YOU A LITTLE AND WILL BLOCK UP. THE ODD STEER WAS A LITTLE PUSHY WHILST COMING ONTO THE CRUSH, BUT RESPONDED WELL WHEN MADE TO BACK UP AND WAIT THEIR TURN.

THE LEAD DRAFT (105HD) OF WELL HANDLED AND WELL BRED STEER WEANERS. AS MENTIONED, CALVES ARE BY HIGH INDEXING BULLS FROM BOTH THE MILWILLAH AND TABLE TOP STUDS. STEERS IN PREVIOUS YEARS HAVE BEEN WELL SORT AFTER BY BACKGROUNDERS AND FEEDLOTTERS ALIKE. UPC IS IN THE TOP 30% IN KILLARA'S BENCH MARKING. BECAUSE OF THE SUPPLEMENTARY FEEDING, 16 STEERS DO HAVE A BLEMISH IN AN EYE AND 27 HAVE SOME DEGREE OF RINGWORM. ANOTHER 540 STEERS (5 X 108 250-299KG), 53 STEERS (200-249KG) AND JUST OVER 300 HEIFERS IN THIS SAME SALE. IN BOTH STEERS AND THE HEIFERS, A 15% TAIL HAS BEEN REMOVED AND WILL NOT BE OFFERED.
