Heifers were mustered Monday and left on hay. They were assessed early Wednesday in the yards and were a pleasure to handle as can be seen in the videos. Once split off and individually weighed some heifers stirred up slightly in the crush but nothing of concern. Overall heifers are extremely well handled and are a credit to the vendor and their staff. Please refer to videos for a view of the fine temperament these heifers have.

Assessor Comments
A perfect opportunity to purchase a nice 3 decks of vendor bred Droughtmaster x heifers. Heifers are all year branded 5s with 3 heifers being numbers 4s but only due to the vendor calving all year round. Heifers were weaned from March through to early June, where they were weaned and tailed with horses and dogs. The temperament on these heifers is second to none, which is a credit to the vendor and his team. With an Ideal temperament and years of breeding these heifers would be ideal future breeders where they would make beautiful big cows or would make perfect heifers to put away and background. Buyers, please note these heifers are in tick country, the vendor has pretreated these heifers with a plunge dip for ease of movement into clean areas, but all clearing costs are buyers' responsibility. This vendor also has another line of the lighter heifers in this sale as well and is also happy to sign any Grasslands Forms.
