Assessor Comments
Angus & a small number of Angus cross heifers purchased from the Western District of Victoria April/May 25 as young lightweight heifers. The heifers were in good condition on arrival then... having been sold before falling too far and came onto good growing feed here so have not suffered any setback. The cattle have done well since being at Spoilbank and only being sold due to the feed quality lowering at this time of year and to make room for other stock on the property. Originally Vet tested NDP early May they have now been PG'd at assessment due to an unplanned chance encounter with a bull. Heifers suitable to grow out as feeder heifers or join to a bull of choice in a controlled breeding program.
