Weaners worked through draft and race well at assessment with the odd one stirring up under pressure but settled once it was back with the mob. Moving weaners between yards were very quiet and a credit to the education the vendor has already put into them. Weaners will continue to be educated outside and inside the yards until delivery.

Assessor Comments
A line of 214 VGQ PCAS eligible Santa & Santa X infused weaner heifers that present in store to forward store condition and are best described as being medium to large frame relative to age. Heifers show plenty of bone, length & depth and will continue to grow out to be excellent future breeders or would suit continuing on to do a domestic feed job. This is an opportunity to buy a large run of one brand cattle that will have been well educated in and outside the yards. Buyers please note some of these cattle have been in hand for up to two weeks at assessment so expect good compensatory gains. Vendor also has other lines in the same sale. At assessment 4 x head noticed with small ring worm marks on head & 2 x head with old blue eye scarring. Please note run has a total of 214 head in it being offered as 2 x even runs out the gate.

Part of annual turn off of weaners. Plenty of education has been put into these cattle with the weaning process both in the yards and out.
