The Askew cattle are generally very good to handle. A few head did display some run when drafting but having four people in yards was contributing factor. Weighing and assessing was no issue with only about 10 head really showing any sign if wanting to move off scales quickly.

Offering the “Tops of the drop”. 108 well bred Angus heifers originally selected by vendor to retain, however the continuing tight season in the Western District means they are offered for sale. A significant tail of 30% has already been removed with these heifers representing the lead of 160 head in the drop. They are LKK & Rossander blood and present in healthy store condition with plenty of frame. They are out of a good cow herd offering the purchaser the chance to background, finish or join for a spring calving and would make very good breeders. Previous purchaser’s feedback has always been positive in regards to performance. A great chance to acquire a very good draft of vendor bred Angus heifers.
