Assessor Comments
108 VGQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Braford Steers. They Exhibit Very Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their age & come from a Highly Regarded Herd. Ideal Steers to grow out to Feeder weights or take through to slaughter, with the capacity to make very good Bullocks. Majority are Quiet, have Good Feet & Tidy Heads. 100% were weighed & assessed after 18 hours off feed & water. They were weaned anywhere from 3 days - 3 weeks prior to assessment & have lost all associated bloom. They have been paddock trained, getting tailed out into holding paddock during the day & yarded up at night. There is 1 x Steer that had a Ring put on at weaning 3 weeks ago. It has almost fallen off & is no concern. Vendor has 3 decks of Heifers available in the same sale. Escombe is Prickly Acacia free & Steers are Eligible for Grassfed Programs.
