Credit to the vendors, as these steers were excellent to handle through the yard and in the crush. Steers have a quiet temperament which could be attributed to being well educated at weaning and when cattle are purchased be educated. The cattle are well handled as they are part of a rotational grazing program.

Backgrounders, very good quality line of 109 Angus Speckle Park cross steers. Grassfed, antibiotic free, HGP free. Steers present in store to forward store condition ranging from 301kgs - 440kgs to average 359kgs curfew. Extremely well handle, good temperament, they have been rotation grazed through fresh paddocks. A small percentage of these steers were purchased out of northern NSW as part of a trade job, the rest of the steers are vendor bred. They have plenty of frame, bone & depth to keep on doing. Ideal steers for an oats crop or to be take through to heavier export feeders or kill job. These steers will not disappoint. Please note vendor has another lot of steers in same sale.

Small number of steers were purchased from "Bokhara Plain" Brewarrina NSW Sired by Pharo Angus bulls. The Vendor bred steers are out of Angus, Angus cross & Angus/Brangus cross cows. Sired by Bulliac Angus bulls.

Steers have performed well as they have been rotationally grazed through paddocks. They have an excellent temperament and are easy to handle in the paddock and the yards.
