Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers are very well paddock educated, being rotationally grazed, and moved almost daily. Still some typical nervousness in the yards as you expect from young cattle. All were brought up the race by a single handler without hassles. All were very sensible on the scales, standing quietly and exiting calmly, just a couple that need a bit more confidence in the yards to help settle them,

Assessor Comments
Nice little line of store condition Black Baldy Heifers. Out of Pure Yavenvale Hereford breeders, By select Dunoon Angus Sires. The Jeffcott family are well known breeders in the Upper Murray, particularly for producing very high growthing weaners that go on to hit Top End spec’s as Bullocks at an early age. Extensive genetic improvement has gone in to the herd over the years, targeting sires with top % figures on 400/600DW, positive early growth figures & maternal attributes. The mothers of these heifers are big boned, growthy, true-to-type Hereford matrons, and these young females will have the genetics and high performing reputation to take on any chosen venture, be it to join, feeder weights or export market.
