These heifer were a delight to handle yarding up from the cooler into the yards & to work through the pound and the crush. The heifers that were stirry & slightly stirry in the crush were from being isolated or asked to stand on the platform for too long or when having NLIS tags replaced but once out of the head bale and back in the big yard they settled quickly. They were very good to walk through and take photos of, little pushy being moved from yard to yard but easily slowed.

Assessor Comments
Buyers an opportunity to secure a line of quality feeder heifers that will not disappoint. These heifers are from a renowned herd in Western QLD & have a reputation of being noted doers on grass and grain. These heifers are showing good growth & weight for age with a great frame ready to put kilograms on. The Cavendish herd has a lot of emphasis placed on growth & weight for age, buying high weight gaining bulls & high EMA scanning bulls. Ideal heifers to take on & finish on oats, grass or grain.
