Steers were slightly anxious, & free moving through the yards, just showing some nervous behaviour when in close proximity to the handler. Despite this, they were pleasantly surprising, & very well mannered in the force, race & crush. All leading in to the crush sensibly, and only a handful wanting to jump about, or rush out. Steers with more handling will no doubt improve with time.

Excellent opportunity to secure an EU accredited, B double load of high marbling, growthy steers that are being offered on the AuctionsPlus platform as young weaners that are usually sold direct to high end feedlot. These steers are highly sought after and attract a premium price from feedlots given their reputation to perform. Out of a high performing herd of Hazeldean Angus Cows, with the recent introduction of Shacorrahdalu Angus genetics. Always carefully selecting sires for +3 IMF, above average 400DW & positive carcase figures, as well as A.I programs to improve overall herd quality. These steers present in fresh store condition and will go forward on delivery & are really starting to do with some sun on there back coming in to spring. An ideal line of steers to take on with the reputation to back your investment.
