Assessor Comments
A line of 110 top of the drop vendor bred steer weaners. From a line of excellent quality cows. All top quality genetics used from premium bloodlines. Haddon Rig weaners have always been performance cattle with above average performance at major feedlots. These cattle will also do equally as well as grass fatteners, with moderate frame sizes and early maturity along with good IMF figures facilitating good carcase data. Vaccinated with 7 in 1 and backlined with Ivomectin at assessment, these calves are paddock ready upon delivery. Ideal premium quality cattle, actively pursued by major feedlotters when grown out to entry weights. Above average stats on older brothers on 150-200 day programs. Can sign a grass only declaration for grass, if needed. All calves with active pink eye also removed at assessment. A handful of lighter steers were removed from group at assessment.
