Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The steers are well handled and easy to move without excessive bunching or anxiety in a relatively small yard. They block up well and require normal steadying through gates, the pound & race. The majority were very calm stepping off the scales with only a handful eager to exit quicker. Calm & inquisitive, free moving when walking through the yard for photos showing normal flight zone. The Mt Cornish cows are quiet & well educated very pleasant to handle..

Assessor Comments
Good quality Santa & Santa cross light feeder steers from a large frame herd of quality Santa & Santa x cows. The Mt Cornish herd are noted performing cattle having infused top quality Santa genetics over large frame quality Shorthorn cows over many years targeting the feeder and weaner market. The draft is very even 390-480 full - very good frame , stretch and bone. 3 heavier cut horn otherwise they are very clean and tidy around the head.
