The steers are very good to handle in and throughout the yards, they required normal steadying through gates, 11 were quick off the scales through the side gate & agitated if cornered however if handled quietly respond in kind. 1 steer is more aggressive however he hasn't had the handling the others have. Very quiet when walking through the yard for photos showing normal flight zone.

Good quality Santa & Santa cross steers from a large frame herd of quality Santa & Santa x cows.The Mt Cornish herd are noted performing cattle having infused top quality Santa genetics over large frame quality Shorthorn cows over many years targeting the feeder and weaner market. This is a very good draft of steers - handled in 2 separate paddock mobs each respectively even in size. 66 steers weighed 242-404kg av: 327kg full & are in forward to fresh store condition with 48 from another lighter paddock 212-308kg av: 265kg full. Whilst this group present in lighter condition they are very good strong store steers with frame to add plenty of weight. Any horn is very short baby horn otherwise they are very clean & tidy. 2 with very slight ringworm & 6 steers with minor white underline or a white face.
