Tops of the drop offering of 216 EU accredited Angus steers to be sold in two neat B-Double lines. This lot weighed into a very tight weight range of 307-332kg to average 318kg full at assessment. They are feedlot/ bunk trained and are currently gaining 1.7/kg in containment (see grazing conditions). From a high performing commercial herd, Wando Estate place genetic selection pressure on IMF & 400/600-day weights. The herd is predominantly Barwidgee blood with recent use of semen from Millah Murrah Paratrooper, Rennylea Q213 & Chiltern Park Moe through an annual AI program. These steers are highly sought after by major feedlots with excellent feedback from previous purchasers. Ideally positioned, with plenty of weight for age, to turn over quickly as a heavy feeder steer or could go straight on a finishing ration. Selling c/kg only, to be weighed full -5% at Coleraine weighbridge. Please note; vendor also has a heavier draft of steers in this sale & 60 PTIC Heifers in the cattle sale.
