These steers had minimal handling when weaned on agistment & will benefit from additional attention & education by experienced stock handlers. The steers are free moving & require steadying through gates, the pound & race. The majority are quick off the scales through the side gate & agitated if cornered however if handled quietly respond in kind. Free moving when walking through the yard for photos showing normal flight zone. The Mt Cornish cows are quiet & well handled.

Good quality Santa & Santa cross steers from a large frame herd of quality Santa & Santa x cows. The Mt Cornish herd are noted performing cattle having infused top quality Santa genetics over large frame quality Shorthorn cows over many years targeting the feeder and weaner market. The herd are generally of good temperament however this run require additional educating and will benefit enormously with good stock handling. 1 steer with light pink eye - several with minor fly irritation. 15 steers - roan or brindle, white underline or a white face. 9 steers branded September 22 show moderate secondary characteristics - yet are faithfully marked and expected to grow out without residual traits. Delivery avail on property until Saturday 18/03. After 5 pm Saturday delivery will be from WQLX Spell facility Longreach. The vendor will pay spell, loading & feeding up until & including 5pm Monday 20/03. Any additional charges from then on are at the purchaser expense.
