Steers behaved very well through yards. Only a couple stirred up slightly in crush but settled well once returned to mob. Considering first time back in yards since weaning it is a testament to the Wansey herds temperament

Buyers here is an opportunity to secure a VGQ line of the Wansey Downs Vendor bred weaned steers. Steers showing good bone, depth and length and exceptional weight for age due to the British, Euro /Bos Indicus cross. Bred from Large framed Hereford and Hereford /Santa cross cows by Santa and Euro Bulls, these steers are highly sought after by repeat feedlot buyers and are proven performers on Grass or grain. Steers are ideally suited to take through to Lucrative Pasture Fed Slaughter programs having never had antibiotics or grain, alternatively they are ideal backgrounders to take through to Woolworths trade feeder Market. Please note a few steers observed with horns were only small weaner horn and two observed with slight blue blight scarring in one eye , neither considered detrimental , some steers showing signs of lice rub marks and would benefit from a drench. Vendor has 4 decks heavier brothers in this sale.
