The steers were very good to handle. They were hand fed through autumn and winter so are used to humans and vehicles.

115 vendor bred Angus steers. They are a late Aug / Sep / Oct drop and were weaned on in early April. All weighed from 164kg to 271kg to average 200kg full. They had a tough start to life, the cows did a great job for the first 8 months and they have flat lined since weaning though they have picked up since being drenched 4 weeks ago. Some of the bigger frame steers didn't go in the first draft due to some pink eye, they were treated and are clear to be sold though there is some scarring in approx 10 steers. They are all frame with absolutely no fat cover. There is ringworm on faces and some are rubbing (see photos). Bred out of big frame Banquet and Western Vic bred cows.
