Heifers were generally good to handle in yards. Some heifers on mouthing became agitated in crush but released well from crush and settled quickly in mob.

A very good line of Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster cross heifers PTE by St George Vet Services. These heifers are well grown and show good bone and type. Purchased heifers that have done very well since purchase and show the quality to continue to do well. Some heifers were agitated in crush but had been preg tested a week prior and were very good to work at preg testing time. Note heifers were curfewed off feed for 18 hours prior to weighing - 109 heifers mouthed 68 x 0, 41 x 2 th (incl 9hd just cutting 2 th). These heifers would be very good trade feeder heifers. Would also be a good line of future breeders to join to the bull of your choice. Vendor has Charbray heifers out of this mob in this sale.
