The heifers were generally good to work through the yards, they flowed well, the odd heifer was slightly faster than the rest and stirred up slightly if pressure was put on or it was isolated in the pound, however all settled well one pressure was backed off or released into the mob.

A good quality 4 deck line of Vendor Bred, HGP Free, Flatback No.2 Heifers that display good bone, frame, weight for age and temperament. Out of a good Droughtmaster based Composite Cow herd and by Jim Litchfields Hazeldean Angus and Sam Beckers Jarrah Red Bulls.
These heifers exhibit good growth and offer a large compensatory gain if given the opportunity to return to good feed. This lot allows the purchaser to target a range of different markets such as backgrounding to trade weight feeders, fatten for domestic trade or join as future breeders. An ideal line to go onto crop or improved pasture. On assessment it was observed that 9 heifers display a small amount of old fly bite scarring, this is not deemed detrimental. Please note this vendor also has a 4 deck line of steers in the same sale.
