Assessor Comments
Annual offering of the MI and BJ Booth angus weaners. Scotts Angus blood with a big emphasis placed on temperament. Evident in their behaviour being settled in the yards and content with human interaction. These weaners have had great start to life with the season only recently starting to run out. They have been running on renowned top quality heavy clay country that has benefitted from flood waters in 2024. They are shining in the coat, well grown for age (300-412kg to average 335kg) and representing the tops of the drop. Currently being yard weaned on clover based hay and will remain so until delivery. Given conditions the odd weepy eye is expected at delivery. If any appear detrimental they won’t be delivered, currently they are holding up very well. Often sold at feeder weights but have the ability to grow out to bullocks. 100% grass fed and antibiotic free. Vendor is offering 34 seconds, 72 sisters and another line of 27 steers in today’s sale.
