Properly weaned & educated steers. The vendors have put time & effort into handling these calves and it shows when being assessed and in the videos. Exited the yards in a quiet fashion walking back to their paddock without so much as breaking into a trot. Walked through race and stood on scales with a minimum of fuss. Out of a herd that all have a quiet temperament. Pleasure to assess.

Lead draft of 118 x Vendor Bred, Autumn Drop, Steer Weaners offered by the Harbison Family. Genuine 8-9 month old calves that show great growth for age & weight considering the challenging season they have been through. Traditionally grown out to feeder & kill weights the lack of Spring rain dictates their sale now. Properly weaned & yard educated these Steers were a pleasure to draft & assess. Well bred, pure Dunoon blood steers out of a large framed cow herd that will make ideal heavy feeders or equally suit a grass or grain export job. Grass fed & antibiotic free declaration available upon request.
