STEERS PRESENT IN FRESH CONDITION AND ARE PERFECT ARTICLES TO PUT AWAY FOR THE WINTER TO GROW OUT TOO HEAVIER WEIGHTS IN THE SUMMER. STEERS ARE OUT OF PREDOMINANTLY ANGUS, BLACK BALDY AND SPECKLE PARK COWS. STEER WEANERS WERE MARKED LATE WITH RINGS AT THE END OF APRIL, SOME STEERS STILL HAVE THEIR POUCH STILL ATTACHED AND THUS SHOWING A LITTLE THICKNESS.. STEERS ARE AT SUITABLE WEANING WEIGHTS AND WERE FOUND TO BE VERY QUIET TO HANDLE FOR UNWEANED CALVES WHICH SHOULD MAKE FOR AN EASY WEANING PROCESS. PLEASE SEE ANOTHER LOT OF 10 HEIFERS FROM THE SAME HERD IN THIS SAME SALE.

We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree. Her eggs raised $5050 each by Rob and Tania Jarret in 2022 at the Molong Flood Charity Auction and we raised over $20,000 for flood victims in all.
