Quality line of August–September drop, vendor-bred Shorthorn steer weaners. These very well-bred steers are out of large-framed females and sired by high-indexing BlackJack Shorthorn bulls.
At just 6–7 months of age, these steers are already showing excellent growth and weight for age and would suit any backgrounding or finishing program.
The steers have been yard-weaned, received all standard health treatments, and are ready to perform. Previous buyers have been very pleased with the performance of the BlackJack cattle. Please note: Steers were marked in January with jumbo rings. Most have cleaned up well, although a couple still show long pizzle hair, which will clean up with time. Cattle come recommended by assessor.
