The steers were very good to handle. Moved through the yards and crush without too much prompting. 1 str became restless and fidgety when isolated on scales but settled quickly. Have been handled regularly by vendor.

Presenting a small line of well bred Angus backgrounding steers. The cattle carry good genetics and are by a high performing bull with excellent figures. Some of these steers are still hanging onto their winter coat but I think due to the exceptionally mild, wet season being experienced in the district. They are still displaying good weight for age and offer several options moving forward. Two steers have the odd wart on neck or face but are not that obvious. Two steers showing very mild blight in one eye, no effects. They weighed 328kg average after 2 hrs in yards with a range of 280 to 358kg. They are mostly medium frame and present as forward in condition. These cattle suit both domestic and export feed qualifications and ideal for backgrounding being weaned and on the do.

Turnoff of weaner progeny which are out of sinc with main drop. Very pleased with growth and temperament. Normally grow to feeder weights just trying to tighten up joining and turnoff times.
