Steers flowed well through the assessment process. Generally they are easy to handle with the odd steer becoming agitated in the race and crush but all calmed once through the draft and back in the mob. It is worth noting that there were a total of 500 steers in the yards at assessment.

On offer is a very even line of 196 Angus steers. Steers are sold as a run out the gate in two lots (120 head & 76 head). These steers stand on plenty of frame and have been performing well in the fantastic season at Erdavale. Steers weighted from 250 -300kg at assessment and are up to date with all their animal health treatments including a Bovilis MH+IBR in July. Steers would suit further backgrounding for the feedlot or could be grown out on grass to kill weights. Please not these steers are the lightest draft in a large run of 375 head offered across 4 lots put together with trucking numbers in mind. A great opportunity on the doorstep of Spring.
