Heifers handled well and flowed through the yards easily for assessing and blocked up when required. An odd heifer wanted to break from the mob whilst moving but would expect will settle well with more human interaction.

Offering 240 Weaned Heifers over two lots of 120 as a run out the gate. Yard weaned in April these heifers are noted performers, bred in the hills of the South/East Slopes out of volume cows and coming out of a tight season in the south. Bred on principally Ardrossan, Hazeldean and Jarobee Angus bloodlines with a reputation for performing in both grassfed and feedlot environments. Heifers present in fresh store condition and will explode once shown some quality grazing conditions. Note quite a number of heifers are displaying ringworm scarring around face/neck which you would expect to improve once we get into the warmer months. Heifers would suit either the breeder to take on in a breeding program or to take out to a heavy kill heifer. PCAS Grassfed and Greenham Never Ever declaration available at purchasers request. Note a 20% tail removed at assessment. Photos and videos are of all 240 heifers being offered in this sale and sold as a run out the gate.
