These heifers flowed through gateways, pound & race very well. Any that did stir up in the weigh box settled quickly once back in the yard with other cattle. Well handled heifers ready to be paddocked and forgotten about for 6 months!

Assessor Comments
Buyers here’s a full B-Double load of weaned store condition vendor bred great quality heifers that will excell on grass country. These ‘Metford cattle’ are proven performers on grass & crop situations. And will grow out to heavy weights given the right start, they have been bred in mulga country & had access to breeder lick so are healthy in the gut. Given this vendor control joins allows us to be sure there’s no older types amongst this line or should there be any pregnancies. These heifers have a great amount of frame and breeding in them and as such look a great opportunity to buy supermarket suitable backgrounders. I highly recommend this consignment of Backgrounder heifers.
