Cattle are well educated through the yards with a big emphasis on quiet stock handling. Weaners have been through the draft 3 times prior to assessment and also in the past week tailed out consistently with bikes and dogs. At assessment 2 x steers were agitated but settled once back in the mob.

A 4 deck line of soft even Santa & Santa Cross Steers that are PCAS Eligible and present with plenty of compensatory gain. Steers are best described as large framed and present in strong store to forward store condition. This line of cattle show good frame, length and bone and are known to perform on feed growing out to good heavy kill weights. Steers were good to handle in the yards and have been tailed out over the last week with plenty of handling. At assessment 3 steers were noticed with rub markings around eyes and 1 steer with warts around eyelid. At assessment 8 steers noticed with age brand NB#1 which were marked in December 2021 and are all milk teeth balance all NB#2. Buyers please note that there are 2 x family brands in this lot.

A mixture of Bulloo river flood country and soft red mulga country with hayed off herbages and fresh to hayed off native pastures.
Returned to: Will remain in yards on Rhodes and Oaten hay until delivery. Have been tailed out for the past week with bikes and dogs.
