Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Typical weaners not long off the cows so at this point they have had limited handling. They are not yard savy just yet but have settled down very well in the four days since weaning. They will be tailed out and handled further between assessment and delivery so would envisage these will settle down even more by then. There were a few ring leaders that spook a little bit when up close. These ran through the dip very easily and temperament was generally very good.

Assessor Comments
A load of mainly purchased EU ACCREDITED Santa backgrounder heifers that visually look to be very well bred. They are equally the quality of the Consuelo bred cattle that appear on A+ regularly. Most show very good shape and depth of barrel. They are also loaded with eye appeal, weight for age and have a stack of breed character (check photos/video). Most of these heifers definitely show no sign of a setback. They are clear in the eye and clean in the nose, a sure sign they are in good health. Lightweight heifers ideal for restockers to put away for the long-term for breeding purposes or to take to heavier domestic entry weights. Breeders are short throughout Australia and it would be such a shame to see these go to grain. Clean country buyers note they are offered GUARANTEED CLEAR of the dip. Do not miss this opportunity to purchase top notch lightweight heifers that come highly recommended. Note there is also a B-Double of steers from the same property in this sale.
