On offer are a well bred line of 125 weaned Angus Steers, 9-11 months of age averaging 295kg curfewed at assessment.
Steers are extremely well bred being Landfall, Franc’s & Merdeduke Angus bloodlines.
Purchased as weaners in February out of the renowned Southern VIC Ballarat weaner Sale. Steers have jumped away, really showing their growth and breeding, large frame and tremendous bone and structure. These Steers will suit a backgrounding program, ideal cattle for grazing crops and then onto feedlot situation and will make domestic markets in no time, suitable to be grown right out into Bullocks with their frame and growth traits. Unfortunately not able to keep on farm and grow right out due to dry cold conditions.
NOTE - Steers are in a perfect weight gain condition, showing outstanding frame and complementary gain, carrying no condition and ready to do nothing but go ahead.
Also note the ringworm from the cold snap in the central tablelands. On its way to being cleared up.
