Ponkeen have been breeding Red Angus at a high quality for some time. Previously using them back through their former Hereford and Simmental heard. More recently focussing on their pure bred Red Angus heard. These steers are Ponkeen Red Angus blood with reference sires being Hicks Red Angus. Namely Hicks Henry M55. These steers are demonstrating impressive weight for age and good bone to continue. Would suit any heavy weight grass program or demotic finisher.
