Steers were very good to handle throughout the yards and crush. One steer became slightly stirry when being assessed in the crush. All settled well when back in the yards together and remained quiet when getting photographed.

A good to very good quality line of weaned steers. They are soft British/Euro/Bos Indicus crossbred steers that will suit a range of flatback markets. Sired by Nindooinbah Ultrablack & Brangus bulls. The steers are HGP free and have not had access to grain or cotton seed and are eligible for pasture fed markets. August, September, October and early November 2022 drop calves. Steers were yard weaned in July on good quality oaten hay and moved to oats paddock after a week, they will remain on oats until delivery. One noted with slight blue eye scarring in one eye, not seen as detrimental. Two head noted with small ring worm markings on face. 30% of the line are large framed with the remainder medium framed steers. These are very growthy cattle that will continue to move ahead given good feed.
