Good to Handle in and out of the yards for experienced handlers. Rangeland Bred cattle that have been educated as Weaners. They have been pound & race drafted. They flow very well and will need steadying through gateways. They can be quick through the draft & are reactive to pressure in the race but are easy to handle with good stockmanship.

Assessor Comments
144 GQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Braford Cross Steers. Majority Exhibit Medium Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their age. Ideal Steers to background out to Feeder or Slaughter weights with approx 90% suitable for the Supermarket Trade. They are acclimatised to Grass, Mulga & Spinifex so can handle all types of country. Majority have Good Feet, Tidy Heads & were 100% weighed, mouthed & assessed after 24 hours off feed & limited access to water. There is some Prickly Acacia in the paddock these Steers came out of, however it is not in seed at present. These Steers are 1 half of a "run of the gate" mob to fit on 4 decks. It would be appreciated if buyers could organise their deliveries in a similar timeframe. Refer to above trait table for any faults. They are a total tally from the 2 mobs of Steers combined, which will be split evenly at delivery to best ability along with breeds. Vendor has another run of Heavier Steers in the same sale.
