Dunoon Angus pride themselves on the temperament of their herd. There is a large focus on temperament and anything not right is culled. Dunoon cattle are used to dogs, buggies & vehicles. These well educated weaners worked through yards & scales with a minimum of fuss and exited the yards in a calm, steady walk without breaking into a trot. 145 x Angus Steer Weaners on offer from one of the nation's leading seedstock herds. Dunoon bred & blood & carrying industry leading genetics these calves will grow out into ideal heavy feeders or make top grade grassfed bodies. Please note that these Weaners were recently marked with rings on Monday 20th May (8 days before assessment) and as such still have their purse but will clean up in 4-5 weeks and have no future detriment to their quality. There were 6 calves noted at assessment with slight old pinkeye scarring but still had full sight and would pass a feedlot inspection. There is a small amount of ringworm present on some calves as well. Well bred weaners presenting in genuine store condition offering a great opportunity to grab an attractive large line of steers. Dunoon are also offering interest free, delayed payment until 31 October 2024 (5 months) to approved purchasers using an ALPA settling agent or a valid Nutrien account. Please contact to confirm.
