The steers are extremely quiet and easy to handle in both the paddock and the yards. The steers where mustered and yarded with no issues at all. The steers have been yard weaned, tailed out and supplementary fed since the 8/8/23. They were all a pleasure to work through the yards during the assessment process.

The Maroola Santa steers are very good quality cattle, well grown for their age and in good forward store condition. All steers are predominately polled including only scurr. Previously the Maroola steers have a proven record with major feedlots exceeding all weight gain expectations and performance parameters. The Vendor has always purchased the best quality Rosevale Santa bulls for many years. The steers present very well, being 125 head with clean shiny coats and 21 with slightly hairy winter coats. 6 steers have a white flank. 133 are deep cherry red, 12 light red and 1 dark red brindle which blends into the mob. 1 steer is showing slight evidence of ringworm which in no way is affecting the health or appearance of the steer.

Road Train and B double Access, 28 kms west of the Richmond Winton Rd via the Dundee Dimora Rd to Maroola station. The turnoff is 89 kms south of Richmond and 142 kms north of Winton.
Delivery Comments
Cattle will be available for delivery post auction with 24 hours notice. The black soil roads may be impassable in the event of rain, and will have to be considered when arranging delivery post any rain, without rain road is fine.
