Assessor Comments
15 vendor bred NSM yearling Angus heifers. In yard overnight on water before weighing and assessment. Weight range 268 to 365kg with an average of 306kg. Had one 5 in 1 vaccine shot, no recent parasite treatments. Most heifers had clean summer coat, odd one still rough old hair not cleaned up. One heifer has lump on nearside jaw from cactus thorn and has been opened. One heifer shows a infusion of Santa type from a cross bred cow back in herd sometime. One heifer treated for blight at handling. Heifers show good confirmation no faults observed in mobility and body structure. Suitable as future breeders or further condition and grow out for feeder/slaughter stock.
