AN EXCEPTIONAL MOB TO HANDLE THROUGH THE YARDS, WALKING AWAY SELF-CONTROLLED AND CALM THROUGH GATES, MINIMAL EFFORT OR PUSH REQUIRED TO LOAD THE FORCE, RACE & CRUSH. 6 STEERS WERE AGITATED WHEN CONFINED IN THE CRUSH HOWEVER STEPPED OUT THE FRONT CALM AND QUIETLY. OVERALL, IT IS VERY EVIDENT THE TIME AND EFFORT THAT THE VENDORS HAVE INVESTED INTO EDUCATING THESE CATTLE WAS ON DISPLAY HOW CONTENT, QUIET AND EASILY MANAGED THROUGH THE YARDS THE STEERS ARE.

STEERS RANGE FROM 188KG-322KG TO AVERAGE 256.2KG. ONLY 4 STEERS UNDER 200KG & 8 OVER 300KG. STEERS HAVE BEEN ON VERY DRY FEED UP UNTIL 4 WEEKS AGO & HAVE RESPONDED WELL SINCE HOWEVER HAVE A LOT OF COMPENSATORY GAIN. STEERS ARE BRED OUT OF COW BASE THAT WAS TRADITIONALLY CHAROLAIS/SANTA CROSS BASE WITH RECENT YEARS RENNYLEA ANGUS BULLS, POPPLEWELL COMPOSITE BULLS, MOONGOOL CHAROLAIS BULLS & HICKS COMPOSITE BULLS.
