Heifers were assessed after an overnight wet curfew away from the cows, became agitated throughout the assessment (trying to get back to their mothers), although settled quickly when pressure was released - typical weaner behaviour.

A line of Vendor Bred Angus Heifers, sired by Texas Angus Bulls. At assessment the Heifers weighed from 209-307kg to average 251kg after an overnight wet curfew and present in a forward store condition. The Weaners will be yard weaned until delivery, during this time they will have access to Lucerne Hay. To assist with transport the Vendor will deliver to the Tenterfield Sale yards on Monday the 8th and will be available for pickup from Monday afternoon. Please note similar lines in the same sale.
