Cattle presented nervous during assessment which is typical of fresh weaners with minimal handling. Cattle were calm when photographed but became agitated when too much pressure was applied. They flowed through the race well, with only minimal stir in the crush. Steers will settle down with regular handling.

With the unpredictability of the season, the vendors have decided to offer their lead draft of 16 Charolais Angus Cross Steers. Steers are a Feb/April drop, have recently been weaned and are thriving on improved pastures and pasture silage, averaging 304kgs at assessment with a 5 hour curfew. The vendors main focus is breeding stock with great structure, feet and quick growth rate with these steers being a prime example of all. With time, they will make a fantastic asset to any operation due to the Charolais fast growth abilities, efficient feedlot gains and produce consistent, high value carcases. A tail has been removed ensuring a genuine lead draft. Please note vendor has another 9 heifers in the same sale.
