Heifers are well handled and all worked very well through race draft in yards, and settled down quickly once out in big yard. They were a pleasure to work both in the crush and yards.

Assessor Comments
160 heifers that at assessment ranged from 251- 371 kg and averaged 305 kg. Of the 160 Heifers there is approximately 90 greys, 51 red and honey, 14 black / brindle and 5 yellow Charbray. There is 1 heifer with a small naval hernia and 1 with only half a tail. Of the 107 horned heifers about 14 have longer horns but the others have only short regrowth horns and may require trimming in the future. We started mouthing all the #3's but as all smaller 3's had milk teeth we just mouthed all the heifers over 350 kg and 70% of them had milk teeth. Their temperament is very good and they have been well handled. There is 3 family brands in the mob. These heifers would ideally be suited to grow into small to medium framed low maintenance very fertile breeders, or live export feeder heifers. Even though there is no tick on the heifers they are located in tick area and if going to tick free country, they will be cleared of tick on property or in Cloncurry at vendors expense.
