Steers were good to walk through in the yards and take photos. When working through the yards they were keen to look for a gate but could be blocked easily. There were a few that pushed up the race and were uncomfortable in the crush but settled quickly. At the time of the assessment these weaners were on their first trip up the crush and once weaned should settle down further.

Assessor Comments
Offering 160 Angus Cross steers. These steers averaged 242kg live at assessment and were put back with their mothers until delivery. This line of steers are sired by Texas Angus bulls and out of a range of mainly crossbred and Angus cross cows. The steers are not presenting with much fat cover so should bound ahead given good feed and would suit to put away and grow out to feeder weights. Don't miss this opportunity to purchase a nice 4 deck line of Angus cross steers that would suit many markets. Please note there was 2 steers sighted with blight scarring in one eye and a few that were later branded with a dried purse yet to fall off. Also note there are another 150 heifers from the same vendor in the sale.
