Very sensible steers to handled. Worked through the yards and over the scales with no problems. Settled very quickly back into the mob after being weighed and mouthed. Easily handled in the paddock and worked well for the dogs. Have mainly being handled on horse back due to the terrain.

Assessor Comments
A wonderful opportunity to secure 17 steers that are (Pentire & Grenell Blood) all frame and are ready to thrive on crop. Well grown, heavy bone and plenty of length in these steers testament to their Charolais influence yet still showing softness. In store condition (better than store) they have clean, healthy coats and strong to travel. They should meet a variety on markets but ideal to finish as Heavy Grass Fed Bullocks. Bred in very steep country above Glennies Creek Dam/Lake St.Clare and have experienced a very wet late summer, autumn and now a wet start to winter. They are good to handle and well educated - mainly worked on horse back with dogs. 10 yellow/creamy steers, 3 black steers and 3 red steers (showing more shorthorn). 2 Steers have a slight broken face going back to Santa/Hereford cow (3 generations back). 2 steers have a slightly cloudy eye - not detrimental. Vendor bred, Antibiotic free and grass fed eligible. Really good steers in the right condition to go on with.
