Ponkeen have been breeding Red Angus at a high quality for some time. With Ponkeen stud being established in 2000. Previously using them back through their former Hereford and Simmental heard. More recently focussing on their pure bred Red Angus heard. These steers are Ponkeen Red Angus blood with reference sires being Hicks Red Angus. Namely Hicks Henry M55. These steers are demonstrating impressive weight for age and good bone to continue. Also present nice shape and carcass attributes. Would suit any heavy weight grass program or demotic finisher.
