Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers were generally well behaved with just a couple of calves rushing the gate or not wanting to be left behind when drafting and photographing. These cattle gave us no trouble during the assessment and were quite good in the crush. They were yard weaned and have been worked with dogs since.

Assessor Comments
These are some of the best Shorthorn cross calves i've seen. If you're a buyer more concerned with quality than colour than these are worth a look. They've been weaned since December and have been showing solid weight gains over the last month even with the grass drying off. Please note the vendor has another line of steers in the same sale.

Vendor Comments
Annual sale of steer weaners, they might not be black but if you're after steers that will perform these are it. The bone and structure of these calves is very impressive and they'd take pride of place in anyone's front Paddock.
