Assessor Comments
A nice small line of vendor bred Shorthorn steer weaners. Plenty of bone, stretch and softness exhibited here. The Dowling family has been breeding Shorthorn cattle for many years and the quality certainly does shine through. These particular calves have been weaned since mid April and have been grazing a fresh Barley crop for the last month which is certainly putting some freshness through the cattle. A couple of steers with some sign of ringworm but well on the way to healing up. Complementing another small line of Angus weaners being offered by the same vendor in this sale which would make them up to a nice single deck line if put together. Great weaners to take onto a grass fattened job. Worth a close look.
