Assessor Comments
A very good line of predominately Coffin Creek/Dance Angus Cross steers displaying excellent weight for age and Angus qualities. There is plenty of frame, length and bone in the steers and will suit nearly all markets and will steam ahead on quality feed. All steers were mouthed showing milk teeth, with one steer missing a tooth but not seen as cutting new teeth. There are 5 steers with more Droughtmaster/Charolais characteristics from Valera Vale and Elkay 2 Droughtmaster studs over Charbray cows. These steers were a pleasure to handle through the yards and crush. The vendor has one other lot in the same sale, with two other lots of steers in the district if a load was to be made up. One steer with small horns knocked one at assessment.
