STEERS PRESENT IN GOOD, FRESH CONDITION AND ARE A PERFECT ARTICLE TO GO BACK ONTO A OAT CROP, STEERS ARE NEVER USUALLY SOLD THIS YOUNG BUT GIVEN THEIR USUAL OAT CROP TO CARRY THEM THROUGH THE WINTER NOT HANDLING THE CURRENT DRY CONDITIONS STEERS MUST BE SOLD EARLIER PRESENTING A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO BUY QUALITY BACKGOUNDING STEERS THAT ARE WEANED. STEERS USUALLY GET RUN THROUGH TO FEEDER WEIGHTS AND HIT PREMIUM ANGUS AND BLACK BALDY STEER RATES AT LOCAL FEEDLOTS IN THE NORTH WEST. We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree. Her eggs raised $5050 each by Rob and Tania Jarret in 2022 at the Molong Flood Charity Auction and we raised over $20,000 for flood victims in all.
