Assessor Comments
A good quality line of 18 vendor bred flatback steers 6 to 12 months of age. Steers stand on good bone and have great confirmation to continue backgrounding on a crop to take though to heavier weights as they are known for their performance in feedlots. The Rule family focus on quality and are renowned for their successes in any cattle competition winning grand champion prizes on many occasions. Steers were weaned onto an oats crop back in June and have continued with their weight gain, still showing signs of winter coats with rub marks evident and approximately 5 showing signs of ringworm. Steers have a weight range of 200 to 261kg to average 262kg at delivery. Vendor has another two lots of Heifers in same sale to help with trucking.
